Daniel Schimmelpfennig is an aporetic futurist with a master’s degree in futures studies from Finland and a bachelor’s degree in international business and management from the Netherlands. with a scholarship from the European Space Agency, he participated in the space study program at the International Space University in Strasbourg, France. HE is the founder and SHOWRUNNER of THE NARRATIVE STUDIO MANYWORLDS. Daniel is participating at the 2024 Geneva Science Diplomacy Week, initiated by GESDA including the United Nations Headquarters in Geneva, CERN and the emblematic Maison de la Paix. He will also present this summer of 2024 for the possibility studies network at Cambridge University, uk.

Vitali Braun is a space debris engineer with a diploma in aerospace engineering and a Ph.D. in space surveillance and tracking from the TU Braunschweig. He works at the European Space Agency’s Space Debris Office to address the polluting effects of space flight activities. He is a member of standardization working groups, an organizer of participatory workshops on space debris mitigation, and is active in research, education, and outreach activities. FOR January 2025 he will be organizing the next WORKSHOP ON SPACE DEBRIS AT esa/esoc darmstadt, Germany.

James Ward holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computing Science and a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence and has lectured in Computing Science and Business in Australia. He is a former McKinsey & Company business and technology strategist passionate about the extraordinary power of Intelligence (combining human ingenuity, mathematics, and Artificial Intelligence). His work in the domain of Intelligence encompasses climate change, environmental and biodiversity protection, finance and investment, entrepreneurship, and social impact. He has worked with several global investment firms, the UN and WEF, as well as global think tanks, including CSIS, PEEC, AmCham, Civilization Research Institute, and the World Heritage Institute. While James has worked with Artificial Intelligence since the early nineties, it was only when he encountered the work of Professor Judea Pearl that he found the inspiration to develop Five Rings and SKAI. The methodology of Five Rings (and related methodologies and software) has been at the heart of his role as CEO of Epistemology and its core software product, SKAI.
